What is a box and pan folder?
A box and pan folder is a manually operated machine used to bend thin (up to 2.5mm mild steel) sheet metal. What makes a box and pan folder different from a straight folder are its segmented top blades (sometimes referred to as ‘teeth’) which actually make it possible to close bent edges, which is where the name ‘box and pan folder’ comes from.
